그리스도의 순종과 죽음으로 이루신 하나님의 공의 만족

Christ, by His obedience and death
그리스도께서는 그의 완전한 순종과 죽음을 통해

did fully discharge the debt of all those that are thus justified,
이렇게 의롭게 된 모든 사람들의 빚을 완전히 탕감하셨으며,

and did make a proper, real, and full satisfaction to His Father's justice in their behalf.
그들을 대신하여 아버지 하나님의 공의에 대해 적절하고 실제적이며 충분한 만족을 이루셨습니다.

 

칭의는 오직 하나님의 전적인 은혜

Yet, inasmuch as He was given by the Father for them,
그러나 그가 그들을 위해 아버지께로부터 주어졌고,

and His obedience and satisfaction accepted in their stead,
그의 순종과 만족이 그들을 대신하여 받아들여졌으며,

and both, freely, not for anything in them,
이 모든 것이 그들 안에 있는 어떤 공로 때문이 아니라 전적으로 값없이 주어진 것이므로,

their justification is only of free grace;
그들의 칭의는 전적으로 하나님의 은혜로 된 것입니다.

 

하나님의 공의와 은혜가 함께 찬양받음

that both the exact justice and rich grace of God might be glorified in the justification of sinners.
