1. 중생 (Regeneration)

"나도 너를 정죄하지 아니하노니 가서 다시는 죄를 짓지 말라" (요 8:11)

고교 시절 느꼈던 인생의 깊은 허무함은 저를 끝없는 갈증으로 몰아넣었습니다. 수많은 책에서도 답을 찾지 못해 절망하던 저를 주님은 군 복무라는 외로운 시간 속에서 낮추셨습니다.

주님은 요한복음 8장 11절의 용서의 음성으로 찾아와 주셨고, 하나님을 대적했던 저의 교만을 회개케 하시며 거듭남의 은혜를 주셨습니다. 이후 삶의 고비마다 잠언 3장 5-6절 말씀을 신뢰했을 때, 주님은 저의 취업과 결혼, 자녀의 출생, 그리고 온 가족의 구원이라는 신실한 행로로 저를 지도하셨습니다.

2. 부르심 (Calling)

"이제는 그들이 더 좋은 본향을 사모하니 곧 하늘의 본향이라" (히 11:16)

하나님의 말씀은 저에게 구원 그 이상의 능력이었습니다. 말씀을 향한 타오르는 사랑은 저로 하여금 말씀을 섬기고자 하는 간절한 소원을 품게 했습니다. 하나님께서는 10년이라는 인내의 시간을 지나, 마흔이 넘은 늦은 나이에 비로소 신학의 길을 허락하셨습니다.

현실적인 두려움도 컸지만, 히브리서 11장 16절 말씀처럼 '하늘의 본향'을 사모하는 마음이 모든 세속적 염려를 이기게 하셨습니다. 주님은 저를 싱가포르 **Far Eastern Bible College (FEBC)**로 부르셨고, 그곳에서 3년 동안 오직 기록된 말씀만을 선포하는 설교자로 연단하셨습니다.

3. 사명 (Mission)

"말씀을 선포하라... 모든 오래 참음과 교리로 책망하고 꾸짖고 권면하라" (딤후 4:2)

성령님의 인도하심을 따라 깨달은 저의 평생 사명은 하나님의 말씀을 부지런히 연구하고 가감 없이 선포하는 것입니다.

디모데후서 4장 2절의 명령을 따라, 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 긴급한 마음으로 복음을 전하겠습니다. 모든 성도가 말씀의 교리 위에 굳건히 서서, 시대의 풍조에 흔들리지 않는 참된 제자의 삶을 살도록 돕는 충성된 종이 되겠습니다.

1. Regeneration

"Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." (John 8:11, KJV)

During my high school years, a profound sense of emptiness drove me into an endless thirst for meaning. After failing to find answers in countless books, the Lord humbled me during the solitary years of my military service.

He reached out to me with the forgiving voice of John 8:11. This grace led me to repent of my prideful rebellion against God and granted me the experience of being born again. Since then, whenever I faced life's turning points, I trusted in Proverbs 3:5-6. The Lord has faithfully directed my paths, guiding me through employment, marriage, the birth of my children, and the salvation of my entire family.

2. Calling

"But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly." (Hebrews 11:16, KJV)

The Word of God was more than just salvation to me; it was power. My burning love for the Scriptures gave rise to a deep-seated desire to serve His Word. After ten years of patient waiting, God finally permitted me to enter the path of theology at the age of forty.

Though realistic fears were great, the longing for the "heavenly country" described in Hebrews 11:16 enabled me to overcome all worldly anxieties. The Lord called me to Far Eastern Bible College (FEBC) in Singapore, where for three years, I was refined and trained as a preacher dedicated to proclaiming only the written Word of God.

3. Mission

"Preach the word... reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." (2 Tim 4:2, KJV)

My lifelong mission, realized through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, is to diligently study and proclaim the Word of God without compromise.

Following the command of 2 Timothy 4:2, I will preach the Gospel with a sense of urgency, whether in season or out of season. My commitment is to help every believer stand firm on the doctrines of the Word, so they may live as true disciples, unshaken by the trends of this age.
