언약 성경 장로교회 신앙 고백서

 

I. 신앙의 표준

본 교회는 웨스트민스터 신앙고백과 대·소요리문답을 포함한 표준 문서를 신앙의 기준으로 삼습니다. 또한 사도신경과 함께, 아래의 교리 항목들을 통해 본 교회의 신학적 입장을 분명히 고백합니다.

II. 핵심 교리 조항

1. 성경 (The Holy Scripture)

우리는 신구약 66권이 하나님의 영감으로 기록되었으며, 하나님의 섭리 가운데 원어(히브리어, 아람어, 헬라어)로 보존되었음을 믿습니다. 성경은 전혀 오류가 없는(Inerrant) 하나님의 말씀이며, 우리 삶과 신앙의 최종 권위입니다.

2. 삼위일체 (The Trinity)

우리는 성부, 성자, 성령 삼위일체의 하나님을 믿습니다.

3. 하나님의 천지창조 (Creation)

우리는 하나님께서 말씀으로 온 우주를 무(無)에서 유(Ex nihilo)로 창조하셨음을 믿으며, 성경의 기록대로 문자적인 6일 동안 창조되었음을 고백합니다.

4. 인간의 창조와 타락 (Fall of Man)

우리는 인간이 하나님의 형상을 따라 창조되었으나, 아담의 타락으로 인해 모든 인간이 죄인이 되었으며 영육 간의 죽음 아래 놓이게 되었음을 믿습니다.

5. 예수 그리스도의 탄생 (Incarnation)

우리는 예수님께서 성령으로 잉태되어 동정녀에게 탄생하셨으며, 완전한 인성과 완전한 신성을 지니신 분임을 믿습니다.

6. 예수 그리스도의 대속 (Atonement)

우리는 예수 그리스도께서 온 인류의 화해와 대속의 제물로 죽임을 당하셨으며, 오직 그가 흘리신 보혈의 피 공로로만 구원을 얻음을 믿습니다.

7. 예수님의 부활과 중보 (Resurrection & Intercession)

우리는 예수님의 몸이 역사적으로 부활하셨음과 승천하셔서 하나님 우편에서 우리를 위해 변호하며 중보하고 계심을 믿습니다.

8. 예수님의 재림과 전천년설 (Second Coming)

우리는 예수님께서 가시적인 형태로 재림하실 것을 믿습니다. 특히 성경에 기록된 대로 **천년왕국 이전에 재림(Premillennialism)**하셔서 이 땅을 심판하시고 평화를 가져오실 것을 믿습니다.

9. 성도의 부활과 심판 (Judgment)

우리는 성도의 몸이 장차 부활하여 영원한 복을 누릴 것과, 복음을 거부한 자들에게 임할 영원한 심판을 믿습니다.

10. 성경적 분리와 교회의 정결 (Separation)

우리는 하나님의 말씀에 기초하여 삶을 순결하게 유지하며, 진리를 혼탁하게 하는 현대 은사주의와 에큐메니칼(교회 통합) 운동을 단호히 거부하고 성경적 분리를 실천합니다.

결론 (Conclusion)

본 교회는 위에서 제시한 교리 항목들에 대하여 결코 타협하지 않을 것이며, 주님 다시 오시는 날까지 하나님 앞에서 이 진리를 신실하게 수호할 것입니다.

 

Covenant Bible Presbyterian Church: Our Statement of Faith

I. Standards of Faith

This Church aligns itself with the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Standard Documents endorsed by the Westminster Assembly. In addition to the Apostles' Creed, the following doctrinal articles specifically define our theological position:

II. Core Doctrinal Articles

1. The Holy Scripture

We believe that the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments were written by the inspiration of God. They have been preserved in the original languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek) under God’s providence and are the infallible and wholly inerrant Word of God. Scripture is the supreme and final authority in our life and faith.

2. The Trinity

We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three persons in one essence.

3. Divine Creation

We believe that the heavens and the earth were created by God’s Word ex nihilo (out of nothing). We believe that the entire universe was literally created in six days.

  • Ref: Genesis 1:1, Exodus 20:11, Psalm 148:5, John 1:3, Colossians 1:16, Hebrews 11:3

4. The Creation and Fall of Mankind

We believe that God created mankind in His own Image. Due to Adam’s fall, all humans are born sinners, resulting in both physical and spiritual death.

5. The Birth of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He possesses full humanity and full divinity in one person.

6. The Atonement of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ died as a sacrifice of reconciliation and atonement for humanity. All who repent and believe in Him are saved solely by the merit of His shed blood.

7. Resurrection and Intercession

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus and His ascension into heaven. He is seated at the right hand of God, interceding as our Advocate and Mediator.

8. The Second Coming (Eschatology)

We believe that Jesus will return in a visible form. We believe in His Premillennial return (before the millennium), as recorded in Scripture, to judge the earth and establish true peace.

9. Resurrection and Final Judgment

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saints unto eternal life, and the eternal judgment and punishment of those who do not believe.

10. Biblical Separation and Purity

We believe the Church is a spiritual community called to maintain a pure life. We firmly oppose the modern Charismatic and Ecumenical Movements as they compromise the purity of the Gospel.

Conclusion

This Church shall never compromise on the doctrinal articles presented above and will faithfully uphold them before God until the day of His return.
