예정된 자들을 말씀과 성령으로 부르심

All those whom God hath predestinated unto life, and those only,
하나님께서 생명에 이르게 예정하신 모든 사람들만을, 그리고 오직 그들만을,

정하신 때에 효과적으로 부르심

Called in His Appointed and Accepted Time
he is pleased, in his appointed and accepted time, effectually to call, by his Word and Spirit,
하나님께서는 기쁘신 뜻과 정하신 때에 그의 말씀과 성령으로 효과적으로 부르시어,

 

효과적인 부르심의 과정

죄와 죽음의 상태에서 은혜와 구원으로 인도하심

out of that state of sin and death, in which they are by nature, to grace and salvation by Jesus Christ;
본성상 죄와 죽음의 상태에 있는 그들을 예수 그리스도를 통한 은혜와 구원의 상태로 인도하십니다.

영적으로 마음을 깨우쳐 하나님의 뜻을 알게 하심

enlightening their minds spiritually and savingly, to understand the things of God;
그들의 마음을 영적으로 그리고 구원적으로 깨우쳐 하나님의 뜻을 깨닫게 하시며,

돌 같은 마음을 살 같은 마음으로 바꾸심

taking away their heart of stone, and giving unto them an heart of flesh;
돌 같은 마음을 빼앗으시고 살 같은 마음을 주시고,

뜻을 새롭게 하시고 선한 길로 인도하심

renewing their wills, and by his almighty power determining them to that which is good;
그들의 뜻을 새롭게 하시며, 전능하신 능력으로 선한 일을 향해 정하셔서

은혜로 자발적으로 예수님께 나아가게 하심

and effectually drawing them to Jesus Christ, yet so as they come most freely, being made willing by his grace.
그들이 은혜로 인해 자발적으로 오게 하시며, 그리스도께 효과적으로 이끄십니다.
