1. 주님께서 제정하신 주의 만찬

Our Lord Jesus, in the night wherein He was betrayed,
주님께서 (배신으로 인해) 잡히시던 밤에

instituted the sacrament of His body and blood,
그 분의 몸과 피에 대한 예식을 제정하셨는데

called the Lord's Supper,
이는 주님의 만찬이라고 불리는 것입니다.

2. 교회에서 지켜야 하는 주의 만찬

to be observed in His Church,
(이 주님의 만찬은) 교회에서 지켜져야만 하는데

unto the end of the world.
세상의 끝날 때까지 지켜져야 합니다.

3. 주님의 만찬이 주는 영적 유익

3-1) 예수님의 희생을 기념함

for the perpetual remembrance of the sacrifice of Himself in His death,
이는 예수님의 죽음의 헌신을 영원히 기념하기 위함이며

3-2) 신자의 영적 성장과 양육

the sealing all benefits thereof unto true believers,
그 분의 (희생으로 인한) 은혜들을 모든 신자들에게 인치며

their spiritual nourishment and growth in Him,
예수님 안에서 영적으로 양육되며 성장하게 함

3-3) 신자의 의무 수행 강화

their further engagement in and to all duties which they owe unto Him;
신자들이 행할 의무들을 더 잘 수행하게 함

3-4) 그리스도와의 교통의 보증

and, to be a bond and pledge of their communion with Him,
그 분과 교통하는 것에 있어 확실한 보증과 약속이 됨

3-5) 성도의 상호 교제 확인

and with each other, as members of His mystical body.
예수님의 신비한 몸의 지체로서 서로 교제함을 확인
