시편 14:2
[주]께서 하늘에서 내려다보셨으되
하나님은 멀리 계시지 않습니다.
지금도 내려다보고 계십니다.
숨길 수 없는 시선,
피할 수 없는 시선.
하나님은
우리의 생각과 삶을 모두 보고 계십니다.
נָבָל (나발) : 하나님을 지워버린 자
시편 14:1
어리석은 자가 마음속으로 이르기를, [하나님]은 없다, 하였도다.
그들은 부패하여 가증한 일들을 행하였으니 선을 행하는 자가 하나도 없도다.
하나님을 모르는 사람이 아닙니다.
하나님을 지워버린 사람입니다.
마음에서 하나님을 밀어내는 순간,
삶은 방향을 잃습니다.
부패는 시작되고,
가증한 삶은 흘러나옵니다.
하나님을 거부한 마음은
결국 삶을 무너뜨립니다.
אֵין אֱלֹהִים (엔 엘로힘) : 삶으로 하는 선언
시편 14:1
“하나님은 없다.”
이 말은 입술이 아니라
삶으로 하는 선언입니다.
하나님 없이 선택하고,
하나님 없이 판단하며,
하나님 없이 살아가는 삶.
하나님을 부정하지 않아도,
하나님 없이 살 수 있습니다.
נֶאֱלָחוּ (네엘라후) : 익숙해진 죄
시편 14:3–4
그들이 다 치우쳐서 다 함께 더러운 자가 되고 (…)
그들이 빵 먹듯이 내 백성을 먹으면서 [주]를 부르지 아니하는도다.
조금씩이 아닙니다.
완전히 무너진 상태입니다.
썩어가는 삶,
익숙해진 죄.
죄는 어느 순간
자연스러워집니다.
하나님 없이 살면
결국 죄가 편해집니다.
두려움 : 사라지지 않는 하나님 앞에서
시편 14:5
그들이 큰 두려움 가운데 있었으니
하나님을 없다고 하던 사람들이
결국 두려움 앞에 섭니다.
왜냐하면
하나님은 사라지지 않기 때문입니다.
하나님을 지워도
하나님은 여전히 계십니다.
מַחֲסֵהוּ (마하세후) : 숨을 곳
시편 14:6
[주]께서 가난한 자의 피난처가 되시므로
어떤 사람은 하나님 없이 버티고,
어떤 사람은 하나님 안으로 숨습니다.
하나님은
도망칠 대상이 아니라
숨을 곳입니다.
하나님은
우리의 피난처가 되십니다.
구원의 소망 : 끝내 회복하시는 하나님
시편 14:7
[주]께서 자신의 백성의 포로 된 것을 되돌리실 때에
야곱이 기뻐하며 이스라엘이 즐거워하리로다.
무너진 자리에서도
소망은 남아 있습니다.
하나님은 되돌리시는 분,
회복시키시는 분입니다.
하나님은 지금도 보고 계시고,
끝내 회복하십니다.
[깊은 묵상과 나눔을 위한 질문]
- 내 삶 속에 하나님을 지워버린 영역은 어디입니까?
- 아무도 보지 않는 순간에도 하나님을 의식하고 있습니까?
- 익숙해진 죄는 무엇입니까?
- 나는 버티고 있습니까, 아니면 하나님께 숨고 있습니까?
- 하나님이 회복하실 것을 믿고 있습니까?
In the Age of Faithlessness, God is Still Watching
הִשְׁקִיף (Hishqif) : God is Still Watching Psalm 14:2
The LORD looked down from heaven...
God is not far away. He is looking down even now. A gaze that cannot be hidden from, A gaze that cannot be avoided.
God sees all our thoughts and our lives.
נָבָל (Nabal) : The One Who Erased God Psalm 14:1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
It is not someone who doesn't know God. It is someone who has erased God.
The moment you push God out of your heart, life loses its direction. Corruption begins, and an abominable life flows out.
A heart that rejects God ultimately destroys life.
אֵין אֱלֹהִים ('en 'elohim) : A Declaration Made by Life Psalm 14:1
"There is no God."
These words are a declaration made not with the lips, but with one's life.
Making choices without God, judging without God, living a life without God.
Even without verbally denying God, we can live as if there is no God.
נֶאֱלָחוּ (Ne'elachu) : Accustomed to Sin Psalm 14:3–4
They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy... who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
It is not just a little bit. It is a state of complete collapse. A rotting life, becoming accustomed to sin.
At some point, sin becomes natural.
If you live without God, sin eventually becomes comfortable.
Fear : Before the God Who Does Not Disappear Psalm 14:5
There were they in great fear:
Those who said there is no God ultimately stand in fear.
Because God does not disappear.
Even if you erase God, God is still there.
מַחֲסֵהוּ (Machasehu) : A Place to Hide Psalm 14:6
...the LORD is his refuge.
Some endure without God, while others hide in God.
God is not someone to run from, but a place to hide.
God becomes our refuge.
The Hope of Salvation : God Who Ultimately Restores Psalm 14:7
...when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
Even in the place of ruin, hope remains.
God is the One who brings back, the One who restores.
God is looking down even now, and He will ultimately restore us.
