The end of God’s appointing this day, 하나님께서 심판날을 정하신 목적은
is for the manifestation of the glory of His mercy in the eternal salvation of the elect. 택하신 자들을 영원한 구원으로 인도하여 그의 긍휼의 영광을 나타내시기 위함입니다.

2. The Purpose of Judging the Wicked

(악인들을 심판하시는 목적)
and of His justice in the damnation of the reprobate, who are wicked and disobedient. 악하고 불순종하는 타락한 자들에게 하나님의 공의를 보이시기 위함입니다.

3. The Outcome for the Righteous

(의인에게 임하는 심판의 결과)
For then shall the righteous go into everlasting life. 그때에 의인들은 영원한 생명을 얻게 될 것이며
and receive that fullness of joy and refreshing which shall come from the presence of the Lord. 주님으로부터 오는 완전한 기쁨과 안식을 받을 것입니다.

4. The Outcome for the Wicked

(악인에게 임하는 심판의 결과)
but the wicked, who know not God and obey not the gospel of Jesus Christ, shall be cast into eternal torments. 악인들은 하나님을 알지 못하고 그리스도의 복음에 순종하지 아니한 자들로서, 영원한 고통 속으로 던져질 것입니다.

They shall also be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. 또한 주님의 영광과 능력으로부터 영원한 멸망의 벌을 받게 될 것입니다.
