the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven

2. 교회 직분자에 의해 실행되는 권징

How Church Ministers Exercise Discipline

by virtue whereof
(그들이) 이 열쇠들을 사용하여

they have power respectively to retain
죄인으로 여길 수 있으며

and remit sins
죄들을 용서할 수도 있고

to shut that kingdom against the impenitent
회개치 않는 자에게 천국문을 닫기도 하며

both by the word and censures
말씀과 권징에 의해서

and to open it unto penitent sinners
회개한 죄인들에게 죄를 사면해 주기도 하며

by the ministry of the gospel
복음을 전함으로 열어 주기도 한다

and by absolution from censures, as occasion shall require
그리고 각각의 경우들은 모두 권징의 절대성에 의해 행해진다
