1. 성찬예식은 아무나 집행할 수 없음

The Lord Jesus hath,
예수 그리스도께서는

in this ordinance,
이 의식을 위해서

appointed His ministers
그의 사역자들을 택정하셨습니다.

2. 성례예식의 절차

2-1. 성찬의 의미에 대한 말씀 선포

to declare His word of institution to the people,
성찬에 참석한 사람들에게 성찬에 대한 말씀을 선포케 하시고

2-2. 떡과 포도주에 대한 기도와 축사

to pray, and bless the elements of bread and wine,
떡과 포도주를 축사하게 하시고

and thereby to set them apart from a common to an holy use;
이를 통해 그것들을 거룩하게 구별하고

2-3. 떡과 포도주를 나누어 먹고 마심

and to take and break the bread,
빵을 들어 떼고

to take the cup,
컵을 들어

and (they communicating also themselves)
먼저 그 자신들이 먹고 마실 뿐만 아니라

to give both to the communicants;
다른 수찬자들에게 나누어진다.

3. 교회 공동체 내부에서만 나누어짐

but to none who are not then present in the congregation.
그러나 그 회중에 참여하지 않는 자에게는 성찬을 허락지 않으셨다.
