I. Definition of the Church - 교회의 정의

The catholic or universal Church, which is invisible,
보편적 또는 전 세계적 교회는 보이지 않는 교회이며,

consists of the whole number of the elect that have been, are, or shall be gathered into one, under Christ the head thereof;
하나님께서 선택하신 모든 이들이 과거, 현재, 미래에 한 몸으로 그리스도를 머리로 모이게 된 사람들의 총체로 이루어져 있습니다.

and is the spouse, the body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.
교회는 그리스도의 신부이며, 그리스도의 몸이며, 모든 것을 충만하게 채우시는 그분 안에서 충만함이 완전하게 이루어지는 공동체입니다.
