1. After Betrothal - 약혼 후

Adultery or fornication committed after a contract,
약혼 후에 간통이나 간음이 행해져서

Fornication (간음): 부부가 아닌 남녀가 성관계를 맺는 것을 말하며, 강간, 성매매, 미혼인 사람과의 성관계도 포함됩니다.

being detected before marriage,
이 사실이 결혼 전에 발견되면

giveth just occasion to the innocent party to dissolve that contract.
순결한 쪽에서 파혼할 수 있는 권한이 주어집니다.

2. After Marriage - 결혼 후

In the case of adultery after marriage,
결혼 후에 간통의 경우에는

Adultery (간통): 배우자가 있는 사람과 그의 배우자가 아닌 이성 간에 자발적으로 성관계를 맺는 것을 말합니다.

it is lawful for the innocent party to sue out a divorce:
순결한 쪽에서 이혼 소송을 제기할 수 있으며

and after the divorce, to marry another
이혼 후에는 다른 사람과 재혼할 수 있습니다.

as if the offending party were dead.
이는 마치 간통한 상대방이 죽은 것과 같은 것으로 간주됩니다.
