A lawful oath is a part of religious worship.

예배 시간 중에, 정당한 이유가 있을 때 (공적으로) 맹세합니다.
2. 누구 앞에서 맹세하는가? (Before whom is the oath taken?)
the person swearing solemnly calleth God
맹세하는 사람은 엄숙하게 하나님을 부릅니다.
3. 하나님의 역할 (God’s role)

증인이 되어 주심 (To witness)
to witness what he asserteth or promiseth;
하나님은 그가 주장하거나 약속하는 것에 증인이 되어 주십니다.

판단하심 (To judge)
and to judge him according to the truth or falsehood of what he sweareth.
하나님은 그가 맹세한 것의 진실과 거짓에 따라 판단하십니다.
