성경본문내용	1. 그때에 {주}께서 내게 이르시되, 모세와 사무엘이 내 앞에 서 있다 할지라도 내 생각은 이 백성을 향하여 기울 수 없나니 그들을 내 눈앞에서 쫓아내고 나가게 할지어다. 2. 만일 그들이 네게 말하기를, 우리가 어디로 나가리요? 하거든 너는 그들에게 이르기를, {주}가 이같이 말하노라. 죽을 자는 죽음으로 나아가고 칼을 받을 자는 칼로 나아가며 기근을 당할 자는 기근으로 나아가고 포로 될 자는 포로 됨으로 나아갈지니라, 하라. 3. {주}가 말하노라. 내가 그들에게 네 가지를 정해 주리니 곧 죽이는 칼과 찢는 개들과 삼키고 멸하는 하늘의 날짐승들과 땅의 짐승들이라. 4. 유다 왕 히스기야의 아들 므낫세와 그가 예루살렘에서 행한 일로 인하여 내가 그들을 땅의 모든 왕국으로 옮기리라. 5. 오 예루살렘아, 누가 너를 불쌍히 여기겠느냐? 누가 너를 위해 탄식하겠느냐? 누가 돌이켜서 네가 어떻게 행하는지 묻겠느냐? 6. {주}가 말하노라. 네가 나를 버리고 뒤로 물러갔으므로 내가 너를 치려고 내 손을 내밀어 너를 멸하리니 내가 뜻을 돌이키는 일에 지쳤느니라. 7. 그들이 자기들의 길에서 돌이키지 아니한즉 내가 그들을 그 땅의 성문들에서 키로 까부르고 그들의 자녀들을 빼앗아 내 백성을 멸하리라. 8. 그들의 과부들이 내 앞에서 바다의 모래보다 더 늘어났나니 내가 대낮에 노략하는 자를 그들에게로 데려다가 젊은이들의 어머니를 치게 하되 그로 하여금 갑자기 그 도시를 덮치게 하고 두려움이 도시에 임하게 하였느니라. 9. 일곱을 낳은 여인이 쇠약하여 숨을 거두었으며 아직 낮이건만 그녀의 해가 떨어졌으므로 그녀가 부끄러워하고 당황하였도다. 또 그들의 남은 자는 내가 그들의 원수들 앞에서 칼에 넘겨주리라. {주}가 말하노라. 10. 내 어머니여, 내게 화가 있나이다! 어머니께서 나를 낳되 온 땅을 대적하여 싸우는 자요 다투는 자로 낳았나이다. 내가 이자를 받으려고 빌려 주지 아니하고 사람들이 이자를 받으려고 내게 빌려 주지도 아니하였으나 그들이 다 나를 저주하나이다. 11. {주}께서 이르시되, 진실로 너의 남은 자들은 잘되리니 진실로 내가 그 원수로 하여금 재앙의 때와 고통의 때에 너를 잘 대우하게 하리라. 12. 쇠가 북쪽의 쇠와 강철을 부수겠느냐? 13. 네 모든 죄로 인하여 내가 네 온 지경 내에 있는 네 재물과 보물을 값없이 노략물로 내주리라. 14. 또 너로 하여금 네 원수들과 함께 네가 알지 못하는 땅으로 들어가게 하리니 너희를 태울 불이 내 분노 속에서 붙었느니라, 하시니라. 15. 오 {주}여, 주께서 아시오니 나를 기억하고 돌아보사 나를 박해하는 자들에게 복수하시며 주의 오래 참으시는 중에 나를 버리지 마옵소서. 주를 위하여 내가 책망 당하는 줄 아시옵소서. 16. 내가 주의 말씀들을 발견하고 그것들을 먹으매 주의 말씀이 내게 기쁨과 마음의 즐거움이 되었사오니, 오 {주} 만군의 [하나님]이여, 나는 주의 이름으로 불리나이다. 17. 주께서 격노로 나를 채우셨으므로 내가 조롱하는 자들의 모임 가운데 앉지 아니하며 그것을 기뻐하지도 아니하고 주의 손으로 인하여 홀로 앉았나이다. 18. 어찌하여 나의 고통이 영원토록 계속되고 나의 상처가 고쳐지기를 거부하며 고칠 수 없게 되었나이까? 주께서는 내게 전적으로 거짓말쟁이같이 또 마르는 물같이 되려 하시나이까? 19. 그러므로 {주}가 이같이 말하노라. 만일 네가 돌아오면 내가 너를 다시 데려오리니 네가 내 앞에 서리라. 만일 네가 천한 것에서 귀한 것을 취하여 내면 너는 내 입같이 되리라. 그들은 네게 돌아오려니와 너는 그들에게 돌아가지 말지니라. 20. 내가 너로 하여금 이 백성에게 견고한 놋 성벽이 되게 하리니 그들이 너와 싸울지라도 너를 이기지 못하리라. 내가 너와 함께 있어 너를 구원하고 너를 건지리라. {주}가 말하노라. 21. 또 내가 너를 사악한 자의 손에서 건져 내며 무서운 자의 손에서 구속하리라. 1. Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth. 2. And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity. 3. And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy. 4. And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem. 5. For who shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask how thou doest? 6. Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting. 7. And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people since they return not from their ways. 8. Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city. 9. She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD. 10. Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me. 11. The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction. 12. Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel? 13. Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders. 14. And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you. 15. O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke. 16. Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. 17. I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation. 18. Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail? 19. Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them. 20. And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD. 21. And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.

낙심할 때, 회복시키시는 하나님

God Who Restores Us in Times of Discouragement

하나님의 종들도 때로는 깊이 낙심합니다.
Even God’s servants sometimes fall into deep discouragement.

사역의 어려움, 사람들의 반대와 오해, 사회적 고립으로 인해 하나님께 원망을 토로하기도 합니다.
Because of the hardships of ministry, the opposition and misunderstanding of people, and social isolation, they sometimes pour out complaints to God.

말씀을 사랑하던 열정조차 사라지고, 마음이 무겁고 지쳐 있을 때가 있습니다.
At times, even the passion for loving God’s Word disappears, and the heart becomes heavy and weary.

오늘 본문 속 예레미야가 바로 그런 모습이었습니다.
In today’s passage, Jeremiah was in such a condition.

그러나 하나님은 예레미야를 버려두지 않으셨습니다.
Yet God did not leave Jeremiah.

오히려 그를 위로하시고 다시 세우셔서 사명을 이어가게 하셨습니다.
Rather, He comforted him, restored him, and enabled him to continue his mission.

오늘 우리는 낙심한 종을 회복시키시는 하나님을 만납니다.
Today we meet the God who restores His discouraged servant.

동일한 하나님께서 오늘 지친 우리를 위로하시고 새 힘을 주실 것입니다.
And that same God will comfort us and give us new strength today.

I. 말씀에 순종한 종 (렘 15:16)

I. The Servant Who Obeyed the Word (Jeremiah 15:16)

“말씀을 발견하고 먹었다”
“Thy words were found, and I did eat them.”

→ 하나님의 말씀을 받고 깨달아 삶 속에 체화함.
→ He received God’s Word, understood it, and internalized it in his life.

“주의 말씀이 기쁨과 즐거움이 되었다”
“and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart.”

→ 말씀을 기쁨으로 지도자들과 백성에게 대언함.
→ He proclaimed the Word with joy to the leaders and to the people.

“나는 주의 이름으로 불리나이다”
“For I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.”

→ 예레미야의 소명은 말씀을 충성스럽게 대언하는 것.
→ Jeremiah’s calling was to faithfully declare the Word.

→ 사명자로서의 정체성임.
→ This was his identity as God’s servant.

적용
Application

우리는 자신의 소명을 알고, 그 삶을 살아가야 합니다.
We must also know our calling and live according to it.

(엡 2:10) “우리는 그분의 작품이요 … 선한 행위를 하도록 창조된 자들이니라.”
(Ephesians 2:10) “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

(마 7:7–8) “구하라… 찾으라… 두드리라.”
(Matthew 7:7–8) “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

→ 하나님 안에서 소명을 찾고, 구하며 실천할 때 열매를 얻게 됩니다.
→ When we seek, ask, and live out our calling in God, we will bear fruit.

II. 사역의 어려움과 낙심 (렘 15:17–18)

II. The Hardship of Ministry and Discouragement (Jeremiah 15:17–18)

“주의 손으로 인해 홀로 앉았다”
“I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand.”

→ 사역으로 인한 고립과 배척.
→ He experienced isolation and rejection because of his ministry.

“나의 고통이 영원토록 계속된다”
“Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed?”

→ 조롱, 멸시, 협박, 거짓 대언자들의 득세.
→ He faced ridicule, scorn, threats, and the rise of false prophets.

“주께서는 내게 거짓말쟁이 같으십니다”
“Wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?”

→ 열매 없음에 대한 원망과 불평.
→ He poured out his complaint about the lack of fruit.

핵심
Key Point

하나님은 열매를 보장하지 않으셨고, 사명만 주셨음.
God did not guarantee results; He only gave the mission.

적용
Application

하나님의 부르심에는 대가가 있습니다.
God’s calling always comes with a cost.

사역과 신앙생활에서 외로움과 낙심을 경험할 수 있습니다.
We may experience loneliness and discouragement in ministry and Christian life.

그러나 낙심 속에서도 하나님께 솔직히 기도하며 씨름하는 것이 필요합니다.
But even in discouragement, it is necessary to wrestle honestly with God in prayer.

III. 하나님이 주시는 회복과 보호 (렘 15:19–21)

III. God’s Restoration and Protection (Jeremiah 15:19–21)

1. 하나님의 처방

1. God’s Prescription

“네가 돌아오면…”
“If thou return, then will I bring thee again.”

→ 낙심 중에도 하나님께 돌아와야 함.
→ Even in discouragement, one must return to God.

“천한 것에서 귀한 것을 취하라”
“Thou shalt take forth the precious from the vile.”

비유: 광산의 보석, 알곡과 쭉정이, 쓴 물에서 단 물을 길어내는 것.
Illustrations: jewels from a mine, wheat from chaff, sweet water from bitter water.

천한 것: 낙심, 불평, 절망, 분노, 자기 연민.
The vile things: discouragement, complaints, despair, anger, self-pity.

귀한 것: 말씀, 소명, 진리, 순결한 믿음, 사명자로서의 정체성.
The precious things: God’s Word, calling, truth, pure faith, and the identity of being His servant.

적용
Application

회복의 길은 천한 것에서 귀한 것을 취하는 것.
The path of restoration is to take the precious from the vile.

원망 속에서도 말씀과 소명을 붙잡을 때 새 힘을 얻습니다.
Even in complaints, when we hold fast to the Word and calling, we gain new strength.

2. 하나님의 약속

2. God’s Promises

회복: “너는 내 입이 되리라” → 대언자로서 사명 회복.
Restoration: “Thou shalt be as my mouth” → the mission as God’s spokesman is restored.

보호: “견고한 놋 성벽이 되게 하리라” → 적대 속에서도 패배하지 않음.
Protection: “I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall” → opposition cannot defeat him.

구원: “내가 너를 건져내며 구속하리라” → 악인의 손에서 보호하심.
Deliverance: “I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.”

적용
Application

하나님은 낙심한 종을 다시 세우시고 끝까지 보호하십니다.
God restores His discouraged servant and protects him to the end.

우리도 하나님께서 끝까지 함께하심을 신뢰해야 합니다.
We too must trust that God will be with us until the end.

Illustration

구약 – 모세의 낙심과 회복 (민 11:11–17)

Old Testament – The Discouragement and Restoration of Moses (Numbers 11:11–17)

모세는 백성들의 불평으로 지쳐 하나님께 원망함.
Moses grew weary of the people’s complaints and poured out his grief to God.

그러나 하나님은 사람들을 세워 모세와 함께 사역하게 하심.
But God raised up others to share the burden of ministry with Moses.

→ 사역의 짐을 홀로 감당하지 않게 하시는 하나님의 회복.
→ God’s restoration was to keep him from bearing the burden of ministry alone.

신약 – 바울의 사역 고난과 보호 (고후 11:23–28, 12:10)

New Testament – Paul’s Hardships and God’s Protection (2 Corinthians 11:23–28; 12:10)

바울은 수많은 박해와 근심 속에 사역함.
Paul ministered in the midst of countless persecutions and troubles.

그러나 약할 때 강하게 하시는 하나님의 은혜를 붙듦.
Yet he held on to God’s grace, which made him strong in weakness.

→ 고난 속에서도 회복과 능력을 경험.
→ Thus, even in suffering, he experienced restoration and power.

Testimony

저는 말씀의 종으로 부름을 받았습니다.
I was called to be a servant of the Word.

말씀 연구와 전함 속에 기쁨을 누렸지만,
I found joy in studying and proclaiming the Word,

최근 교회의 성장과 사역의 어려움 때문에 낙심을 경험했습니다.
but recently I experienced discouragement due to the challenges of ministry and church growth.

오늘 말씀은 제 안에 있는 낙심, 불평, 자기 연민을 보여 주십니다.
Today’s Word has shown me my discouragement, complaints, and self-pity.

그러나 동시에 그 속에서 말씀과 사명의 귀한 것을 붙잡게 하십니다.
But at the same time, it calls me to hold fast to the precious Word and calling.

저는 회개하며 하나님께 나아갑니다.
I repent and return to God.

그리고 하나님께서 다시 말씀 사역자로서의 열정을 부어 주실 것을 믿습니다.
And I believe God will restore my passion as a minister of His Word.

Conclusion

오늘 우리는 낙심한 종을 회복시키는 하나님을 배웠습니다.
Today we have learned about the God who restores His discouraged servant.

하나님은 예레미야의 낙심을 아시고, 부르심을 다시 붙잡게 하셨습니다.
God knew Jeremiah’s discouragement and called him to take hold of his calling again.

하나님은 회복과 보호의 약속을 주셨습니다.
God gave promises of restoration and protection.

사역의 열매가 보이지 않아 낙심할 때에도, 하나님은 여전히 우리와 함께하십니다.
Even when we are discouraged by the lack of visible fruit, God is still with us.

때로는 사명이 무겁게 느껴지고 낙심될 수 있습니다.
At times the mission may feel heavy and discouraging.

그러나 오늘도 회복시키시는 하나님을 바라보고, 그 은혜를 경험하는 삶을 소망합시다.
But today let us look to the God who restores and hope to experience His grace anew.
