This perseverance of the saints
이 성도의 견인은

depends not upon their own free will,
개인의 자유의지에 의한 것이 아니라

1. 변하지 않는 선택

but upon the immutability of the decree of election,
예정의 불변성에 의한 것인데

flowing from the free and unchangeable love of God the Father;
이는 하나님의 값없이 주시는 은혜요 변하지 않는 성부 하나님의 사랑에서 나오는 것으로

2. 그리스도의 공로와 중보

upon the efficacy of the merit and intercession of Jesus Christ;
예수 그리스도의 공로와 중보기도에 의한 것이며

3. 성령의 내주

the abiding of the Spirit,
성령님의 내주하심 때문이며

4. 하나님의 씨

and of the seed of God within them;
그들 안에 있는 하나님의 씨의 내주 때문이며

5. 은혜 언약

and the nature of the covenant of grace:
은혜 언약의 본성 때문입니다.

 

---

from all which ariseth also the certainty and infallibility thereof.
이 모든 것에서 구원의 확실성과 무오성이 일어난다
