예수 그리스도의 중보자 사역의 성취

 

1. 중보자 직무의 자발적 수락

This office the Lord Jesus did most willingly undertake:
주 예수님께서는 이 직무를 가장 기꺼이 맡으셨습니다.

 

2. 율법 아래서의 완전한 순종

which, that he might discharge, he was made under the law, and did perfectly fulfill it;
그 직무를 수행하기 위하여 율법 아래에 놓이셨고, 완전하게 그 율법을 이루셨습니다.

 

3. 영혼과 육체의 극심한 고난

endured most grievous torments immediately in his soul, and most painful sufferings in his body;
그분의 영혼 속에서 가장 심한 고통을 겪으셨고, 몸에서는 극심한 고난을 당하셨습니다.

 

4. 십자가의 죽음과 장사

was crucified, and died;
십자가에 못 박히시고 죽으셨으며,

was buried, and remained under the power of death, yet saw no corruption.
묻히셨고 죽음의 권세 아래 머무르셨으나 부패하지 않으셨습니다.

 

5. 부활과 승천

On the third day he arose from the dead, with the same body in which he suffered;
제삼일에 그 고난 당한 동일한 몸으로 죽음에서 부활하셨으며,

with which also he ascended into heaven, and there sitteth at the right hand of his Father, making intercession;
그 몸으로 승천하셔서 아버지 우편에 앉아 중보하시고 계십니다.

 

6. 재림과 최종 심판

and shall return to judge men and angels, at the end of the age.
그리고 이 시대가 끝날 때에 사람과 천사를 심판하시기 위해 다시 오실 것입니다.
