1. 그리스도의 몸과 피를 범하는 죄

 

Although ignorant and wicked men receive the outward elements in this sacrament, 비록 부지하고 악한 사람이 성례의 외적 요소들을 받는다고 할지라도

 

yet they receive not the thing signified thereby; 이로 인해 (성찬의 요소들이) 상징하는 것을 받지 못합니다. 

 

but by their unworthy coming thereunto 오히려 그들의 합당치 않게 성례에 참여함으로써

 

are guilty of the body and blood of the Lord, to their own damnation. 예수 그리스도의몸과 피를 범하는 죄를 지어 그들 자신의 파멸을 자초하는 (결과를 초재할 뿐입니다.) 

 

2. 부적합한 자를 성찬에 참여시킬 수 없음

 

Wherefore all ignorant and ungodly persons, 그러므로 모든 무지하고 경건치 않는 자들은

 

as they are unfit to enjoy communion with him, 예수 그리스도와의 연합을 즐기는데 합당치 않으므로  

 

so are they unworthy of the Lord's table, 그들이 주님의 성찬에 합당치 않으며

 

and can not, without great sin against Christ, 그리스도에 대한 큰 죄를 짓게 됩니다. 

 

 

while they remain such, partake of these holy mysteries, 그들이 이런 거룩한 성찬 예식에 참여하거나

 

or be admitted thereunto. 참여하는 것이 인정된다면
