since the apostles’ times,
사도시대 이래로
whether general or particular,
일반적인 경우 혹은 특별한 경우이든 간에
may err, and many have erred;
실수를 범할 가능성이 있어 왔습니다.
공의회 결정의 참고적 활용 (Use of Synodical Decisions as Guidance)
therefore they are not to be made the rule of faith or practice
그러므로 (공의회와 협의회의 결정들은) 신앙이나 실제 생활의 규칙이 되어서는 안 되지만,
but to be used as a help in both.
