The moral law doth for ever bind all, as well justified persons as others, to the obedience thereof.
도덕법은 모든 이들에게 순종을 요구하며, 거룩하게 된 자들과 구원받지 못한 자들 모두에게 적용됩니다.
2. 도덕법에 순종해야 하는 이유

and that, not only in regard of the matter contained in it.
우리가 도덕법에 순종해야 하는 첫 번째 이유는 그 안에 포함된 내용 때문입니다.

권위 때문에
but also in respect of the authority of God, the Creator, who gave it.
두 번째 이유는 그것을 주신 창조주 되신 하나님의 권위 때문입니다.
3. 예수님에 의한 도덕법의 강화
Neither doth Christ, in the Gospel, any way dissolve, but much strengthen this obligation.
그리스도께서는 복음 안에서 이 도덕법을 폐하지 않으시고 오히려 그 순종의 의무를 더욱 강화하셨습니다.
