성도들을 어렵게 하는 요인
Nevertheless, they may,
그럼에도 불구하고 그들은 아마도
1. 사탄의 유혹
through the temptations of Satan
사탄의 유혹들과
2. 세상의 유혹
and of the world,
세상의 유혹들과
3. 죄성
the prevalency of corruption remaining in them,
신자들 안에 남아 있는 강한 죄성과
4. 게으름
and the neglect of the means of their preservation,
그들의 견인을 위한 수단들을 게을리함
어려움이 드러나는 모습
1. 죄에 빠짐
fall into grievous sins; and, for a time, continue therein:
잠시 동안 죄 가운데 빠지거나 그 죄 가운데 머물러 있을 수 있으며
2. 하나님의 진노
whereby they incur God's displeasure,
하나님의 진노를 야기할 수 있고
3. 성령 근심
and grieve His Holy Spirit,
성령님을 근심케 할 수도 있으며
4. 은혜·위로 상실
come to be deprived of some measure of their graces and comforts;
어느 정도의 은혜와 위로를 누릴 수 없게 되고
5. 마음 강퍅·양심 상처
have their hearts hardened, and their consciences wounded;
마음이 강퍅해지고 양심이 상처를 입으며
6. 비방 거리 제공
and scandalize others,
다른 이들을 중상하며
7. 스스로 심판
and bring temporal judgments upon themselves.
일시적으로 스스로 심판을 받게 됨
