말씀을 들었으나 참되게 나오지 않은 자: 구원받지 못함
Others, not elected, although they may be called by the ministry of the Word,
선택되지 않은 다른 사람들은 비록 말씀 사역을 통해 부름을 받을 수는 있지만,
and may have some common operations of the Spirit,
성령의 일반적인 역사에 어느 정도 참여할 수도 있지만,
yet they never truly come to Christ, and therefore cannot be saved:
결코 참되게 그리스도께 나아오지 않으므로, 구원을 받을 수 없다.
기독교를 고백하지 않는 자: 구원받지 못함
much less can men, not professing the Christian religion, be saved in any other way whatsoever,
하물며 기독교 신앙을 고백하지 않는 사람들이 어떤 다른 방식으로든 구원받을 수는 없다.
자연법과 타종교 윤리를 따른 삶: 구원의 길 아님
be they never so diligent to frame their lives according to the light of nature, and the law of that religion they do profess;

and to assert and maintain that they may is very pernicious, and to be detested.
