비록 다윗이 위기의 순간임에도 불구하고, 시의 톤은 결코 우울하거나, 다급하지 않습니다.
오히려, 시인은 주님의 안에서 만족하고 있습니다.

시의 내용
1. ‘야훼’ 하나님은 나의 주인이십니다.
“네가 {주}께 아뢰기를, 주는 나의 [주]시니이다.
“LORD”는 언약의 주, ‘구원의 주’, ‘야훼의 하나님’입니다.
“나의 주”는 ‘my Lord’입니다. ‘나의 주인님’이라는 의미입니다.
다윗은 구속의 주, ‘야훼의 하나님’을 자신의 주인이라 생각합니다.
주인은 모든 것을 책임집니다.
의식주를 책임집니다.
모든 삶의 여정을 책임집니다.
인생에서 어떤 주인을 만나는 지는 종의 행복을 좌우합니다.
“나의 선함이 주께는 미치지 못하오나”
이 구절의 의미는 ‘당신이 없으면 저는 아무 좋은[good] 것을 가질 수 없습니다.’
다윗은 하나님으로부터 가장 좋은 것이 나온다는 것을 알고 있습니다.
다윗은 주인은 가장 좋은 것을 주시는 하나님이십니다.
2. 이러므로 내 마음이 기쁘고
“이러므로 내 마음이 기쁘고 내 영광이 즐거워하며 내 육체도 소망 중에 안식하리니”
다윗의 마음이 기쁘고, 즐거워하며, 육체도 소망 중에 안식할 수 있는 이유는 무엇입니까?
1) 성도와의 교제의 기쁨을 주기 때문입니다.
“땅에 있는 성도들과 뛰어난 자들에게는 미치오니 나의 모든 기쁨이 그들에게 있나이다, 하였도다.”
땅에 있는 성도들은 ‘excellent’합니다.
그들과의 교제는 큰 기쁨을 제공합니다.
2) 헛된 고통을 수반하지 않기 때문입니다.
“서둘러 다른 신을 따르는 자들은 고통이 더욱 많으리로다. 나는 그들의 헌물 곧 피의 음료 헌물을 드리지 아니하며 그들의 이름도 내 입술에 올리지 아니하리로다.”
이방인들은 자신들의 신을 기쁘게 하기 위해 피를 받쳤습니다.
누군가를 죽여 제물로 받쳤습니다.
바울 제사장들은 자신들의 몸에 자해를 하며 피를 흘렸습니다.
요즘에도 힌두교에서는 자신의 몸을 고통스럽게 하며 피를 흘리며 행진하는 제의 의식들을 봅니다.
이방인의 종교는 신을 기쁘게 하기 위해, 무언가를 해야 합니다.
하나님은 우리에게 그런 것을 요구하시 않으십니다.
먼저 찾아와 섬겨 주십니다.
그러므로, 헛된 고통을 야기해 나의 정성을 신께 보일 필요가 없습니다.
3) 나의 상속의 몫을 지켜 때문입니다.
“{주}께서는 나의 상속 유업과 나의 잔의 몫이오니 주께서 나의 몫을 지키시나이다.
다윗에게 하나님은 이스라엘의 왕이라는 ‘몫’을 주셨습니다.
그보다 더 중용한 것은 그 몫을 지켜 주십니다.
어떠한 상황 속, 위기의 상황 속에서도 시인은 이 사실을 굳게 붙들고 있습니다.
‘결코 나는 망하지 않을 것이다’ 왜냐하면 하나님께서 내게 약속하신 것을 반드시 이룰 것이기 때문입니다.’ 시인은 이렇게 고백을 하고 있습니다.
4) 권고하시기 때문입니다.
“나를 권고하신 {주}를 내가 찬송하리니 내 속 중심도 밤에 나를 훈계하는도다.”
“권고”는 조언을 해 주는 것입니다.
‘카운셀링’을 해 주는 것입니다.
‘훈계’는 실제로 보여주며 가르쳐 주는 것입니다.
‘instruct”의미는 어떤 기능을 경험을 통해 가르쳐 주시는 것입니다.
비록 다윗의 삶이 위태할 지라도, 이 모든 것은 주님께서 주시는 훈련임을 다윗은 받아들입니다.
말씀을 통해 ‘권고’하시고, 인도를 통해 ‘훈계하고 계심을 인정합니다.
스포츠 선수들에게 훌륭한 코치를 맞나 지도받기를 원하십니다.
이론도 배우지만 그들이 보여 주는 ‘실제’도 배우기를 원합니다.
마찬가지로, 하나님은 다윗에게 말씀과 삶을 통해 왕의 수업을 받게 하십니다.
5) 영원한 생명을 주시기 때문입니다.
“이는 주께서 내 혼을 지옥에 남겨 두지 아니하시고 주의 [거룩한 자]가 썩음을 보지 아니하게 하실 것이기 때문이니이다.
주께서 생명의 길을 내게 보이시리니 주 앞에는 충만한 기쁨이 있고 주의 오른쪽에는 영원토록 즐거움이 있나이다.”
우리 또한 다윗의 믿음과 희망을 따라가며, 위기의 순간에도 하나님의 축복과 인도 아래에서 만족을 찾을 수 있습니다. 우리의 마음을 주님에게 기뻐하며, 주님과의 교제와 더불어 영원한 즐거움을 찾을 수 있는 이 길을 향해 나아가 봅시다. 하나님의 축복과 도움 아래에서, 우리의 마음이 항상 만족과 평안 속에 안식할 수 있기를 소망합니다.
The background of the poem:
The term "Miktam" means "to cover" or "to close the lips," implying silence or meditation. Additionally, "Miktam" carries the meaning of "golden," signifying something of great value. When we observe verses like "Preserve me, O God" in verse 1 and "I shall not be moved" in verse 8, we can discern that David is passing through moments of crisis. Despite facing these crises, David's tone in the poem is never melancholic or desperate. Instead, the poet finds satisfaction within the Lord. Meditating on the Lord in silence would have been a precious time for David, even amid moments of crisis, as he finds satisfaction in the Lord.

Content of the poem:
1. The LORD is David's master.
"thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord.'"
"LORD" is the Lord of the covenant, the Lord of salvation, the God of Yahweh. "My Lord" means "my master." David regards the LORD of salvation, the God of Yahweh, as his master.
The master takes responsibility for everything.
The master takes responsibility for every journey in life.
Meeting the right master in life determines the happiness of a servant.
"my goodness extendeth not to thee;"
This verse means "If you are not there, I cannot have any good." David knows that the best comes from God. David believes that the master is God, who gives the best.
2. Therefore, my heart rejoices.
"Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope"
Why is David's heart glad, rejoicing, and his flesh resting in hope?
1)Because of the joy of fellowship with the saints.
"But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight."
The saints on earth are excellent. Fellowship with them brings great joy.
2)there is no need for futile pain.
"Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips."
The pagans shed blood to please their gods. Someone was killed as an offering. The priests of Baal cut themselves and shed blood. Even today, we see rituals where people march, inflicting pain on themselves and shedding blood. Pagan religions require something to please their gods. God does not require such things from us. He comes to us first and serves us. Therefore, there is no need to cause futile pain to show my sincerity to God.
3)Because of preserving my portion of inheritance.
"The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot."
God gave David the 'portion' of being the king of Israel. What is more important is that He preserves that portion. In any situation, even in a situation of crisis, the poet firmly holds onto this fact. "I shall not be moved" because God will surely fulfill what He promised me. The poet confesses in this way.
4) Because of counseling.
"I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons."
"Counsel" is to give advice. "Instruction" actually shows and teaches. The poet accepts this training from the LORD through His word and life. Even if David's life is precarious, he acknowledges that all this is training from the LORD. He accepts the 'counsel' through the word and the 'instruction' through leading. Athletes want excellent coaches. They want to learn not only theory but also what they show in 'practice.' Similarly, God allows David to receive lessons of a king through His word and life.
5) Because He gives eternal life.
"For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life;"
We too can follow David's faith and hope, finding satisfaction and blessings from God even in times of crisis. Let's move towards the path where we can rejoice in our hearts before the Lord, seeking eternal joy along with fellowship with the Lord. Under God's blessings and help, I hope our hearts will always find rest and peace.
