is to be handled with special prudence and care, 특별한 신중함과 조심성으로 다루어져야 하는데
예정 교리가 택한 자에게 주는 유익
that men, attending the will of God revealed in his Word, and yielding obedience thereunto, 하나님의 말씀에 계시된 하나님의 뜻과 (그 뜻에) 순종하는 사람들은
may, from the certainty of their effectual vocation, 그들의 효력있는 부심을 통해
영원한 선택에 대한 확신
be assured of their eternal election. 영원한 선택을 확신하게 된다.
하나님에 대한 감사
So shall this doctrine afford matter of praise, reverence, and admiration of God; 그래서 이 교리는 하나님을 찬양하고, 공경하며, 흠모하는 마음을 가지게 한다.
책임감 있는 삶을 살게 함
and of humility, diligence, and abundant consolation to all that sincerely obey the gospel. 복음에 복종하는 사람들에게 겸손함과 성실함과 풍성한 위로를 준다.
