| 성경본문내용 | 하나님께서는 그의 기쁘신 뜻대로 긍휼을 베푸시기도 하시고 거두시기도 하시고 그 마음의 측량할 수 없는 뜻을 따라 피조물을 다스리시는 자신의 지고한 권능의 영광을 위하여, 택함받지 않은 사람들을 저희의 죄 값으로 수치와 진노를 받도록 정하셨으니 이는 그의 영광스러운 공의를 찬송하게 하려는 것이다. The rest of mankind, God was pleased, according to the unsearchable counsel of his own will, whereby he extendeth or withholdeth mercy as he pleaseth, for the glory of his sovereign power over his creatures, to pass by, and to ordain them to dishonor and wrath for their sin, to the praise of his glorious justice. |

유기는 하나님의 주권적인 작정
The rest of mankind God was pleased,
택함을 받지 않는 자들에게는
according to the unsearchable counsel of his own will,
측량할 수 없는 그분의 지혜에 따라
whereby he extendeth or withholdeth mercy, as he pleaseth,
하나님의 기뻐하시는 대로 긍휼을 베풀기도 하시고 거두기도 하십니다.
유기하신 목적
for the glory of his sovereign power over his creatures, to pass by;
그 분의 피조물에게 주권적 영광을 위해서 버려 두시고
and to ordain them to dishonor and wrath for their sin,
죄로 인한 불명예와 분노를 작정하셨습니다.
to the praise of his glorious justice.
