1. 의인들을 심판하시는 목적
The end of God’s appointing this day, 하나님께서 심판날을 정하신 목적은
is for the manifestation of the glory of His mercy in the eternal salvation of the elect; 택하신 자들을 영원한 구원하여 그의 긍휼의 영광을 명확하게 나타내시기 위함이며
2. 악인들을 심판하시는 목적
and of His justice in the damnation of the reprobate, who are wicked and disobedient. 악하고 불순종하는 타락하여 심판을 받을 자들에게 하나님의 공의를 보이기 위함입니다.
3. 의인에게 임하는 심판의 결과
For then shall the righteous go into everlasting life, 그때에 의인들은 영원한 생명을 얻게 될 것이며,
and receive that fullness of joy and refreshing which shall come from the presence of the Lord: 주님으로부터 오는 완전한 기쁨과 안식을 받을 것이지만
4. 악인에게 임하는 심판의 결과
but the wicked, 악인들은
who know not God, 하나님을 알지 못하고
and obey not the gospel of Jesus Christ, 그리스도의 복음에 순종하지 않은 자들인데
shall be cast into eternal torments, 이들은 영원한 고통 속으로 던져져
and punished with everlasting destruction 영원한 멸망의 벌을 받게 될 것인데
