1. 그리스도와의 연합
All saints, that are united to Jesus Christ their Head, 모든 성도들은 그들의 머리이신 예수 그리스도께 연합되어 있는데
by His Spirit, and by faith, 성령님과 믿음에 의해
have fellowship with Him in His graces, sufferings, death, resurrection, and glory: and, being united to one another in love, 그의 은혜, 고난, 죽음, 부활, 영과, 그리고 사랑에 동참한다.
2. 그리스도 안에서 성도의 연합
they have communion in each other's gifts and graces, 성도들은 은사들과 은혜들로 서로 교제하며
and are obliged to the performance of such duties, public and private, 공사간에 그러한 은사들과 은혜들로 섬기며
as do conduce to their mutual good, both in the inward and outward man. 영과 육 두 영역에서 서로 유익을 받도록 행해야 한다.
